Please be advised that Turpin Distribution is operating a normal service for orders and despatch of goods, during the continued flight disruption as a result of the volcanic eruption in Iceland.
- For customers using a UK shipper, please note that they have been affected by the closure of UK airspace. Customers are advised to contact their shipper directly for more information.
- European customers waiting for goods which have been sent by UPS are advised that shipments are being despatched, but there will be delays in these arriving at their final destination.
- All other customers, please be advised that goods destined for the rest of the world, including the USA, have been severely affected by the flight disruption.

The Bodleian Library is expanding its publishing programme after creating two new appointments.
Su Wheeler has joined the Library as Marketing and Sales Coordinator. Su worked previously at Speechmark Publishing and Cambridge University Press. Caroline Brooke Johnson is now Editor, having come from the British Museum (and previously the National Portrait Gallery). Deborah Susman has been promoted to Managing Editor and is in charge of the day-to-day management of the programme.
The appointments coincide with a move to new offices at the Osney Mead site in Oxford; new address is Bodleian Library Publishing, Osney One Building, Osney Mead, Oxford, OX2 0EW, tel: 01865 283850, email: publishing@bodley.ox.ac.uk.
Representation and distribution remain the same with Yale and Turpin Distribution respectively for the UK and Europe, and Chicago University Press for North America and Canada.

Turpin is proud to announce its new e-commerce site for journal subscriptions and renewals. Following registration, new or existing customers may order or renew subscriptions simply and securely. 28th November 2008 - Changes to VAT - Value Added Tax
The standard rate of VAT (UK tax) changes on the 1st December 2008 and all taxable orders processed by Turpin Distribution from this date will be charged at the new rate. This change does not affect zero rated items, tax exempt items, or tax rates applicable outside the UK.
