We provide an INTERNATIONAL SERVICE FOR YOUR SUBSCRIBERS. Our networked business systems in the UK and US offices allow us to offer a full global service, or a market restricted service, according to your requirements.

Turpin provide institutional, individual or members with the following services:

English, French, German, and Spanish-speaking staff to process orders, and manage claims and queries.
Collection of IP addresses and transmission to nominated online host. We work with Highwire, Atypon, Ingenta, Metapress, etc., and we can, where required, activate subscribers’ access in external sites.
Trading with the major agents (Swets, Ebsco, Harrassowitz, Maruzen, Kinokuniya and USACO) electronically using ICEDIS standards.
Send one renewal and up to three reminders each year. Our systems scan back two years for lapsed subscribers, sending the first notice to their agent, if applicable, and then, if necessary, direct to the subscriber. We also offer a telephone chasing service for lapsed subscribers.

Standard features of our service include:

Ownership of subscription data remains with client.
Publishers retain their identity on every renewal, reminder, payment receipt, etc., and we operate your rules regarding discounts, online access, refunds, etc.
We can offer to manage main runs and/or catch-ups/backstarts or we can transmit label files to your printer or mailing house.
Our automated film wrapping machine is capable of packing 50 journal issues per minute.
Our systems manage both calendar year and any-time start subscriptions.
We recognise that customers often purchase via an agent. We hold three addresses in our systems - bill-to, ship-to and end-user.
Publishers have a free text area on renewals and reminders issued to allow them to market other titles, conferences, associated books, online access, etc., direct to their subscribers.
Consortia management processing service for orders with specialist invoicing and reporting.
Distinct production schedules for print and electronic journals, allowing different gracing policies for print and online content.
For magazines we can provide reports for ABC/BPA audit returns.
